HotScripts

One of the better known script directory sites is HotScripts. I met HotScripts back in 2002 when it was run by the original web developer Jon Yoon. The site then as it remains now is an excellent & easy to navigate web site script directory.

Today HotScripts is owned by the iNet internet corporation and and the site boasts of almost 40,000 resources listed in over 1000 categories. You’ll find the larger categories include: AJAX, C++, Flash, Ruby on Rails, XML, java, cgi, perl, python and much much more.

They also have a programming talk section where programmers chat with each other about all aspects of scripts and web hosting, at the time of this post there were 227 people chatting in this section. The site has 694,000+ members and regularly has over 2000 visitors at any given time.
