What is Chat?
Chat is a feature on the internet which allows people to stay connected to each other as their computers are powered up & online and if they have compatible chat software installed.
Chatting has become a more prevalent way of communicating as it is as instant as making a phone call to someone but it is not as intrusive. You can send someone a chat and they can either respond right away or they can respond hours (or days) afterward. So if you have something to say to someone it make communication faster than picking up the phone and less awkward as leaving a phone message when someone is not there.
Chatting is a great way for inter office communication as it allows employees to work together and communicate quickly and without leaving their desks. In fact chatting is one of the systems which is making working from home so much easier.
